About Me
I am a dedicated producer with experience managing post production pipelines for 5+ years. While I did not always start in advertising, I am incredibly proud of my efforts to get to where I am today.
Prior to being a producer, I earned my bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering with a concentration in aerospace engineering. I landed my first career position as a nuclear engineer overseeing the construction of reactors on naval aircraft carriers. I worked specifically in implementation and construction, which meant I was responsible for instructing tradesmen on processes, and just like all projects, when things inevitably go off the rails, I was responsible for determining the proper direction to get tasks back on course, while ensuring personnel safety, and keeping schedule and budget in mind.
At the end of the day, my job was to use my problem solving ability to oversee processes, people, time and money. So while the stakes are much lower in terms of personnel safety, all the fundamentals of the job are the same.
Add in a montage of all the scenes throughout my childhood drawing and painting and attending animation conferences, and cut to 2021 when I made the decision to find out where my skills in project management and my passion for art overlap.
I began producing small vfx and color projects on the side to help prove that my previous role and that of a producer were not all that different. Finally, the good people of Cutters Studios gave me a chance, and I have been happily producing in advertising ever since.
